Submission Guidelines

New editions of the Banyan Review are available each February and July. We review submissions throughout the year.

Please send 2–5 poems, fiction (300–5,000 words) and/or creative nonfiction (300–5,000 words) in the body of an email.

If you are interested in writing a book review, please query. We are interested in ½ to 2 page reviews, written in "daily life" language, of books of poetry, fiction and creative nonfiction published in 2003 and later.

Creative work must be previously unpublished. Simultaneous submissions are acceptable as long as we are notified of acceptance elsewhere.
