...The cat statuette is carved out of a wood that is lighter in weight than it seems it should be, and has a waxy feel. It doesn't really appeal to me, but it certainly is skillfully made. The dog has managed to wind its lead between the legs of the table. I put the figurine down, and then, I noticed the small silver tin; something I had lost a long time ago...
